Representative achievements
He has published nearly 200 SCI (Science Citation Index) academic papers in renowned international academic journals such as the Science (Special Issue), Environmental Science & Technology, Water Research, Chemical Reviews, Advanced Materials, Nano Energy, ACS Catalysis, Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, Journal of Hazardous Materials, and Chemical Engineering Journal. He has mentored over 70 graduate students, three of whom have received the Shanghai Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award. He has applied for more than 55 Chinese invention patents, with 39 patents granted.

The lab
Over the past decade, he has undertaken more than 30 significant research projects, including the National Major Science and Technology Water Projects, the Ministry of Science and Technology's 863 Projects, National Major Scientific Instrument Development Projects, the National Natural Science Foundation, Shanghai major projects, Shanghai key basic research projects, and significant collaborative projects with enterprises.

This laboratory emphasizes both the cultivation of students' innovation ability and the enhancement of humanistic sentiment and comprehensive quality.
